Coach Shawn Morgan is in his first year at Dodge County High School. He is a 1992 graduate of Dublin High School. He attended Middle Georgia College, Augusta State University and Berry College on baseball scholarships, where he lettered all four years. He graduated from Berry College with a degree in Sports Performance and from Augusta State University with a degree in Health & Physical Education.
Coach Morgan has 11 years coaching experience, two of which he was a part of the back-to back state championship teams at Peach County High School. He will coach defensive ends, coordinate special teams for the football team and will be the head baseball coach.
He is married to the former Melissa Strickland, also of Dublin. They have two sons, Brock, 3, and Brewer, a newborn.
